Senior Quantity Surveyor - Major Civils & Steel Strucural Projects - Grangemouth - £60K-£70k DOE - Car/Allowences + Benefits
I am currently working with leading principal contractor with an impressive track record in the construction and development of renewable energy and energy from waste, commercial, education, warehousing & distribution projects who are currently looking for a Senior QS to join their Commercial team based on site in Grangemouth.
You will be working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, responsible for the financial management of subcontracting costing's throughout all stages of the design & build project (Waste to Energy New Build). There is an immediate requirement for a project which is due to begin very soon.
The role is a permanent position and so there will be aspects of bid management, minor variations, support and tendering in order to secure new projects in the future. You will need to be an experienced quantity surveyor, with experience of working on major civil's projects, multi-million pound developments, some experience within the energy from waste sector will be an advantage and some steel structural experience. You will have experience of working for a main contractor, ideally with 10 years + experience of working on construction projects in a QS capacity.
