We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Source Design Team based from our Maple Cross office. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to a wide range of projects of all sizes and complexity, flexible work life balance and much more.

Location: Flexible with both home and office working with main office being Maple Cross. Projects can occur between Chiltern Tunnel (Missenden) and Long Itchington Wood (Southam) - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Contract: Permanent- Full Time - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Source Design Team, supporting them in maintaining a level of professional commercial support for the team with new contractual amendments, on projects such HS2.

Your day to day will include:


  • Managing the commercial resources (people and finance) of assigned projects to maximise planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts
  • Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
  • Completing and supporting the authorisation and submission of project variations
  • Maximising cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers
Who are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if have:


  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within utilities
  • Knowledge of NEC frameworks would be advantageous
