Senior Research Fellow in Condition Monitoring of Machinery - (12 month fixed term contract)

Protocol are looking for a Senior Research Fellow to work with a university in West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be in a position to lead the industry, working with a university that is a growing centre of research and excellence. They have achieved a Gold Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework Award.

Role Responsibilities:

You will provide overall management of the research projects.
You will undertake the evaluation, interpretation and criticism of existing literature and previous research materials.
You will be able to critically evaluate and interpret new data, forming new lines of thought in preparation for publication of research.
You will be able to plan, and manage a range of research methods appropriate to the research area.
You will complete research grant reports and funding applications, alongside other administrative tasks relevant to the project.
You will be able to deliver conference presentations.
The person & qualifications:.

You will have a PhD qualification in a relevant area of vibration condition monitoring or motor current signature analysis of machinery.
You will have extensive research experience, supported by various published papers.
You will have substantial experience in areas of vibration condition monitoring of machinery.
You will have experience of writing for journal publications, research reports and presentations.
You will have laboratory experience, and experience programming in Matlad.
You will have extensive problem solving skills and the ability to communicate ideas and project findings to others.
