Location: Luton (Possible Travel UK wide)
We're currently recruiting for a project Senior SHE Advisor to be responsible for the co-ordination and provision of SHE support to the Luton MPT project, reporting to the Infrastructure Head of SHE. This task will be carried out in a manner wholly consistent with Kier's SHE policies without compromise.

Primary Functions:
· Deliver Kier strategic goals for SHE through the development and application of specific programmes aligned to Kier group strategy on the project.
· Ensure the project remains compliant with all legislation regarding health, safety and the environment
· Drive to deliver continual SHE improvements across the project.
· Ensure Kier SHE Standards are implemented to allow all relevant legislation to be complied with.
· Work proactively with the Project Manager to provide support and advice on SHE issues as necessary
· Report using the companies AirsWeb system on Accidents/Incidents, inspections Audits and monthly reports with regards to Kier's IMS.
· Promote ways of improving SHE performance on the project.
· Ensure that the Kier group SHE policies and any local guidance are fully aligned to the client standards in order that no conflict or confusion exists
· Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are correctly reported and investigated in accordance with Kier Group SHE policies and standards
· Ensure all SHE lessons learnt and high potential incidents are communicated
· Responsible for preparing and submitting related improvement programmes and awards for your project
· Assist and support project site teams to improve SHEQ performance and promote staff health and wellbeing
· Conduct site inspections, audits to ensure compliance with company policies, standards and integrated system
· Production of safety alerts, bulletins, tool box talks etc. as required
· Carryout internal SHEQ training & staff workshops on the project
