Senior Site Administrator

Location: Loughton, Essex with travel to sites across London.

Kier Construction London is looking to recruit a Senior Site Administrator. The successful post-holder will be responsible for providing full secretarial and administrative support to the site based staff, as well as overseeing and coordinating the site administrators across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training on Oracle and other systems to ensure efficiencies are gained.
  • Manage Oracle and Hire reports and liaise with Site Administrators to close these off, providing training and support to reduce queries.
  • Arrange or provide holiday and sickness cover.
  • Recruit and train new team members, ensuring the appropriate sign-off for any new or replacement positions is gained.
  • Review the role requirements to encompass commercial administrative support on site; and regularly gain feedback from site teams on the quality and level of support.
  • Review consistency in the application of the role; with the overriding objective of removing administrative tasks from project leads and site teams.
  • Liaise with operational leads about new project start-ups and completions, allocate resources as appropriate. In addition, liaise with the relevant parties regarding the site set up and closure.
  • Line manage all administrators, gaining feedback from site teams to feed into PPR process.
  • Ensure a consistent approach with filing and assess and review any overlap with 4p Co-ordinators.
  • Liaise with Smart Waste Co-ordinator to assess KPI's/Compliance across the sites.
  • Ensuring SUSA's are entered onto the system and measure completions in line with SHE targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in administration
  • Flexible team player
  • Self organised - ability to multi task
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact effectively with other members of staff
  • Computer literate, especially word, excel and powerpoint.
  • Solid experience of the Oracle system
  • Previous experience of training or coaching.
  • Ability to travel across multiple sites.
  • Ideally previous management experience
  • Good excel skills
  • At least 2 years' experience as a site administrator within the construction industry.
