Introduction
Join a vibrant team as a Senior Structural Engineer in Sheffield, where you'll have the opportunity to lead and manage a variety of projects, including domestic alterations, extensions, and bespoke commercial structural developments. You'll be ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency from project inception through to completion. Flexibility is key to this role, with the option to work fully or on a hybrid basis.

What Does the Role Entail?
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will take responsibility for structural design calculations, ensuring projects comply with British Standards and Euro Codes. You'll coordinate with other professionals and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget, while ensuring the technical aspects are managed effectively. You'll lead smaller projects independently or work as part of a team on larger schemes, collaborating across the different offices. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior engineers, engage in business development activities, and contribute to fee proposals and tender submissions. This role will have you working in varied projects from Refurbs to new builds.

What Skills Will You Have?
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of British Standards and Design Codes, with a proven ability to produce designs grounded in strong engineering principles. You should be proficient in technical design packages such as Tekla, CADS, and Tedds, with additional knowledge of AutoCAD being a bonus. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, will be crucial, along with your ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. A strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail are essential for this senior role, as is a commitment to your professional development.

What Is On Offer?
