Our North London Division located Ruislip, Middlesex is looking to recruit a brand new role of Fire Manager to join the team. The Role The role of Fire Manager will manage the Technical and Commercial aspects of North London’s fire projects from first contact through to completion of any relevant remedial works. The role reports to the Technical Director / Commercial Director. Principal accountabilities of the role include: To review Bellway’s historic information, records, subcontract details and drawings relating to fire projects where relevant. To provide this information to Bellway’s internal Fire Team and solicitors etc as necessary. To manage incoming correspondence from 3rd parties relating to fire. To agree and commission any necessary further investigation works To manage Bellway supply chain regarding potential recoveries To liaise with the Bellway Fire Team regarding fire projects To manage liaison with Bellway Legal Teams on relevant projects To coordinate the North London commercial team to produce cost information ensuring that cost-effective solutions are delivered To tender and procure Fire Consultants, Designers and Subcontractors for remedial works as necessary. Project Management of on-site remedial works with the support of external Project Managers Input to Bellway’s Customer Care team regarding resident liaison for Fire Projects Twice monthly reporting to the internal North London Management Team regarding fire projects Support to the North London Technical Director and Commercial Director for monthly Bellway Fire Team reporting All in coordination with the Technical Director and Commercial Director Experience, Qualifications and Skills Experience Experienced Technical / Commercial Professional with appropriate knowledge and experience of complex medium and high rise projects. An ability to work across both Technical and Commercial Disciplines. Experience of managing legacy projects. Knowledge of relevant Fire Regulations. Qualifications and Training Relevant degree is desirable CSCS card holder Full UK driving licence Skills and Aptitude Good interpersonal skills. Excellent organisation and administration skills, including good attention to detail Ability to work on own as well as part of a team Ability to manage a broad range of 3rd party stakeholders, residents and regulators etc. Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems Committed to diversity and inclusion The Role and Working Conditions Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked.
