Senior Urban designer Job in Bristol

We are currently working with an independent design consultancy who are seeking a design focused Senior Urban Designer to join it's team in Bristol.

My client is an established yet growing landscape consultancy who has 40 years of expertise and know how to deliver high-quality design and placemaking. With eight offices across the UK, each with their own personality; and made up of an established team of urban designers, landscape architects, planners and architects. The role offers flexible working with home working available.
Due to the increase in projects they now require a Senior Urban Designer to join the team in its Bristol office.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working on the production of landscape and master planning designs
  • Managing projects across all stages
  • Working as the point of contact for clients and external contractors
  • Managing team members
  • Visiting site as required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Urban designer with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
  • Experience in working as a lead on master planning projects
  • strong conceptual landscape and master planning design skills
  • Experience of working with clients and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong verbal and visual communications skills.
  • Track record of working on all RIBA stages including project running, team leading and consultant liaison.
  • Proficiency in adobe suite and AutoCAD
  • Chartered status with a built environment professional body is also desirable.
