About the role:
Working as part of an in-house team, you will carry out safety inspections, recertifications & repairs of autobelays & belaymates. Currently, our team processes over ##### units per year through the Service Centre, with each device being checked over to exacting manufacturer's specification to ensure that they are safe to use.

Devices being inspected are:

The Role
* Carry out the annual inspection and repairs of climbing safety devices
* Helping with stock management levels
* Provide technical advice to clients and staff
* Dispatch completed units to clients
* Helping to prepare loan units for dispatch/check-in
* Pick products for sales/warehouse from picking lists
* Help with site inspections & climbing wall repairs when required.
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Role:

* No experience is required and full training will be provided but good mechanical understanding / being practically minded essential
* Knowledge of climbing and/or climbing wall industry beneficial but not essential
* Competent with CRM systems, Excel, emails and general IT literacy (training provided)
* Ability to work methodically & exacting to ensure that inspections are carried out to a high standard
* Ability to problem solve when a device is performing incorrectly
* Good English grammar & spelling is essential for customer communication
* The job would be well suited to a mechanic, machine operator, engineer, etc
