Job Description

Telephone office support, manning the service department phone lines.

Liaising with customers, logging machine breakdowns and dealing with customer queries.

Liaising with service engineers, dealing with queries and field information.

Recording information on the Microsoft AX System (breakdowns, unproductive time etc.)

Efficient utilisation of Service Engineers

Scheduling of the Engineer's workload for 'breakdown' calls.

Checking Engineers timesheets, ensuring all paperwork is received and saved.

Processing Service Reports onto AX / Checking Reports on AX (Service Application)

Filling and saving paperwork. (Service Reports, Timesheets, Parameter Sheets etc)

Sending service reports to customers. (This will become redundant via AX)

Overseeing the scheduling of 'non breakdown' calls

Assisting with the planning service and test visits.

Sending weekly and monthly workload to the service engineers.

Planning resources (people and parts) for service visits.

Liaising with suppliers

Planning resources (people and parts) for return visits.

Identifying, ordering and allocating spare parts to the correct job

Updating 2030 log on receipt of laboratory reports.

Assist with booking travel and accommodation as required.

Assist with the ordering of test soils.

Duties associated to the normal day to day running of the Service department

Any additional duties that may be required. These will be identified and agreed by the Service Office Manager

Profile

Able to work in a demanding environment with high standards and tight deadlines

Excellent interpersonal skills and able to liaise with all levels

Ability to using initiative and plan ahead with a 'can do attitude and a team spirit

5 GCSES grades A-C (English and Maths)

Good telephone manner
