My client, a regional contractor are currently looking to recruit a permanent Site Engineer to oversee numerous contracts based around the North East.

This will predominently be based setting out on new build sites but may also include small commercial and infrastructure projects also.

As sites are based across Newcastle, Durham & Teesside applicants may apply from various locations as this is mainly a site based role.

You will be working alongside Site Managers, Contracts Manager & Su Contractors

Salary is £35,000 to £48,000 depending on level of experience and car or van

Some key responsibilities include...

  • Setting Out
  • Surveying
  • QC
  • Liaising with senior management
  • Liaising with the sub contractor
  • Managerial experience is desired but not essential

You must have...

  • CSCS Card
  • Valid UK Driving License
  • HND or HNC
  • Setting out experience within the construction industry
  • Good knowledge of IT based skills - autocad, excel & outlook.
