Daniel Owen are a recruitment business working withing Building and Construction currently sourcing a Setting out Engineer in Yeovil. We are currently working with a main contractor building a large commercial warehouse. they are currently looking for someone to working on setting out the external groundworks package and gatehouse.
Duties & Responsibilities of a Setting out Engineer:
- Knowledge of site calibration checks
- setting out the external groundworks and gatehouse
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
- May need to assist with the ordering of concrete
- Quality checks
- As-builts
- Oversee some of the document control aspects
- General site duties
- Skills & Qualifications of a setting out engineer
- Must be degree qualified with a Civil Engineering or Construction related degree
- 3 years' minimum experience within a similar role
- Valid CSCS card
