Kier Utilities is a leading utility service provider with much of our work delivered within long-term Alliance and framework contracts. Working on an 8-year framework with UKPN who own and maintain the electricity cables in South East England and London we are part of an alliance comprising Wood Group, Morrison Utility Services and Clancy Docwra.
As SHE Advisor you will be responsible for providing safety, health and environmental advice in accordance with the Kier SHE Integrated Management System. You will undertake site SHE inspections, periodical audits, investigate incidents and provide reports& recommendations.
You will need to have the ability to continually drive a positive and proactive SHE culture within the region, by providing support and advise to any part of Kier Utilities operations. Compliance is key in this role, you would need the ability to support teams to carry out their roles and responsibilities and implementing the Kier Safety, Health and Environment Management System.
To be successful in this role you will hold a NEBOSH General Certificate, working knowledge of ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 Standards and ideally have previous experience within power industry.
