Kier Construction are looking for a SHE Advisor to provide safety, health and environmental advice to management and the project teams based out of our East Midlands office. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from education to commercial, healthcare, leisure, public sector and more!
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you'll advise on all aspects of SHE in improving and maintaining high standards and compliance with Kier Group standards and minimum standards. As part of this role you will carry out audits and inspections inline with Kier's standards and promote best practice and identify areas of improvement. As part of this role your duties will include promoting our Kier Behavioural Safety Programme, advise on the Safe Systems at Work, Construction Phase Plans and Environmental Management Plans, and compile SHE monthly progress reports.
What do we need from you?
Ideally you will have a good level of construction knowledge with a strong health and safety background, working as part of a cohesive team is key to this role, with the ability to organise, plan and manage workload against tight deadlines. You must have a NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum, a membership of professional body (minimum Tech IOSH) as well as a good working knowledge of the environment and sustainability, good IT skills, working knowledge IS0 14001 & 18001.
