We're looking for a Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Coordinator to join our Highways A417 team based in Gloucester to facilitate accurate and effective record keeping, and supports operational teams SHE requirements, in line with Minimum standards. This role is critical in ensuring operational teams can meet their SHE Obligations, and will therefore prevent lost time, and reduce the risk of accidents, incidents and Claims. Within this role, you can enjoy 26 days holiday plus bank holiday with the option to buy/sell, fantastic matched pension scheme and even more.

Location: Gloucester - remote working available, with travel to the office.

Contract: Permanent, Fulltime

Salary: £24.5k - £26k

Responsibilities

As a SHE Coordinator, you'll provide coordination of SHE related matters, including SHE Document control, administrative support for both SHE and Operational Teams, and ensuring that accurate record keeping is maintained in line with Minimum standards & Project requirements

Your day to day will include:
  • support the corporate and wider SHE team, with the management of information reports and systems on a business stream / unit level
  • support the SHE team in the collation of data and communication of the strategy.
  • Providing the information to be uploaded to the project website
  • collate data requests and disseminate results as requested
  • work closely with the learning and development team and maintain L&D data/systems including the contracts training matrix
Who are we looking for?

This role of SHE Coordinator is great for you if you have:
  • experience working within a construction environment within an admin function
  • excellent advanced IT skills in Microsoft
  • ability to work on own initiative and deliver key objectives
