Job Title: SHE Manager - Source Design

Location: Hybrid - Home/Office with travel to sites across the region

Business area: Kier Utilities - Source Design

Contract: Full or Part-Time, Permanent.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 plus car or car allowance

Due to growth, we have an opportunity for a SHE Manager to join our Source Design team.

We need you to help us lead the team and advise Kier's employees on minimising and avoiding risks around their day-to-day work. Nothing is so urgent that we cannot take time to do it safely.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of SHE Advisers in the Source Design business
  • Work with the other SHE Managers in the Energy and Water business to ensure the effective implementation of the integrated management system
  • Support operational teams and regional directors to ensure all SHE requirements are fully met
  • Ensure the 5 Kier SHE basics are embedded throughout all areas of responsibility
The overall aim of the SHE team is to ensure that:

  • The highest possible standards of SHEA responsibility are implemented across the business.
  • Coaching and mentoring support is provided as required.
  • Operations are fully supported.
  • The SHEA strategy is implemented.
  • We achieve full compliance against all legal requirements, Client requirements and Kier Group SHEA IMS.
  • Information is recorded accurately in order to promote best practice
What do we need from you?

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • Membership of relevant professional institution
  • Experience in H&S or relevant operational roles
