Sheet metal worker

A well-established family run business who specialises in standard and fire rated ventilation systems, has a requirement for an experienced sheet metal worker to join their growing team in the Eastbourne area. £11.50 per hour + monthly bonus scheme + 25 days holidays plus BH.

The sheet metal worker's main Duties & Responsibilities will include:

  • The sheet metal worker will utilise various machinery to fold, cut and spot weld cuttings.

  • The sheet metal worker will read from technical drawers.

  • The sheet metal worker will ensure a high level of detail is maintained.

  • The sheet metal worker will work as part of a team and mentor trainees.

  • The sheet metal worker will receive up to £11.50 per hour + monthly bonus scheme + 25 days holidays plus BH.

The successful sheet metal worker will:

  • The sheet metal worker will have demonstratable experience.

  • The sheet metal worker will have experience in reading technical drawings.

  • The sheet metal worker will be familiar with power folders, both hanging and free-standing spot/ resistance welders and lock formers.

  • The sheet metal worker will be paid up to £11.50 per hour + monthly bonus scheme + 25 days holidays plus BH.
