SHEQ Advisor Job title in the East Midlands

I have a SHEQ Advisor Job available in the East Midlands with a water and environmental contractor. In this position you'll be working closely with the Head of SHEQ on civil engineering projects across the Midlands. This client are open to speaking to water sector candidates who might be looking for a move into a Health & Safety role.

This water and environmental contractor employee around 300 people across the UK with 11 regional offices. This specialist contractor has multiple framework agreements across most of the water companies in the UK as well as clients such as the Environment Agency.

Role & Responsibilities

- Provide Health & Safety advise and solutions

- Conduct on site audits

- Conduct incident investigations

- Conduct office and site investigations

- Build internal relationships with site teams

- Deliver in-house training sessions and toolbox talks

- Conduct contractor audits

- Reduce risk on site.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience in the water sector

- On site experience

- NEBOSH or IOSH would be an advantage but not essential (training can be provided)

- Driving License is essential.
