SHEQ Advisor - Warrington/ North West

Daniel Owen is looking for a SHEQ Advisor to join a leading provider of social housing maintenance, refurbishment, and regeneration services across the UK. They work with local authorities, housing associations, and private sector clients to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions that improve communities and enhance lives.

Location: Warrington / North West

Position: SHEQ Advisor

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Package

Contract Type: Permanent

Availability: This role is immediately available

The Role:

We are seeking a proactive SHEQ Advisor to join a growing team and support the implementation of their Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) policies. In this role, you will ensure compliance with regulations, promote best practices, and drive a positive safety culture across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on SHEQ matters to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of SHEQ policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending corrective actions.
  • Deliver SHEQ training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
  • Work collaboratively with management to promote continuous improvement in SHEQ performance.
  • Ensure alignment with ISO management systems and industry best practices.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH).
  • Experience in a SHEQ role within the property services, construction, or housing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driving license and own vehicle
