We have a new vacancy for a site Electrician to join our Engineering team at our Croft Masterblock site, Leicester. You will maintain automated block manufacturing infrastructure, plant and equipment at two sites and ensure production output is achieved. This includes scheduling out of hours breakdown support, Preventative maintenance while working towards a continuous improvement environment. You will work in conjunction with other engineers, production staff, and technicians too maintain Electrical Safety Management Standards across both sites. ?What’s on offer? Completed mechanical & electrical apprenticeship/s or equivalent and be qualified; City & Guilds, BTech, NVQ L3 or equivalent in plant maintenance. Experience in an equivalent Engineering leading role. Electrically competent in; process control and automation. Electrical installation 17th Edition, plus basic IT Skills. Ideal but non essential qualification includes: Inspection & Testing, AM2 Test. Mechanically competent in; Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conditional and Preventative maintenance systems. Ideal but non essential qualification includes: Metal Fabrication, Welding (arc & gas), machine shop Skills, Abrasive Wheels. Recognition of environmental impact and working knowledge of appropriate environmental legislation. Self-motivated, with initiative and a proactive approach, strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relations with others. Detail and results oriented with strong personal values to succeed.
