I have been asked by a client to identify a number of candidates to work as a Site Engineer; the company have a collaborative mentality and are looking to consistently grow. They are looking for someone that shows excellent work ethic who can show a drive to work daily. They want there Site Engineer's to feel challenged and keen to progress with a company that values there input and expect everyone in the organisation to work to the same goals. There methodology is to get it right first time and they need you to help with this.

The role I have is for a Site Engineer to work in Edinburgh and the after that further projects in the North.

The ideal applicant;

  • Competent at setting out and willing to develop others in setting out skills
  • Understands and interpret contract documents (drawings, bending schedules, specifications, moss/setting out information strings)
  • Can communicate information to other site teams/labour to ensure works are constructed within required tolerances
  • Is capable of working with a team of engineers

In order to secure this position it would be ideal if you had experience of rail projects, but this is not essential.

We are looking for people who want to be trained and developed and work within a supportive company structure that doesn't work to previously perceived construction practices.
