Site Engineer Construction
A freelance opportunity exists with a national Construction/civil engineering contractor on a project in Wakefield. Experience on industrial projects specifically setting out of heavy reinforced industrial structures is required
Site Engineer duties will include:
Setting out and as built surveying
Interpreting the construction drawings
Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications
Review the bending schedules and call off rebar
Pre-pour checks and order concrete
Liaise with Site Manager and Senior Engineers
Enforce company Health and Safety standards and ensure Quality.
Requirements for a Site Engineer:
HND/HNC/BSc in Construction or Civil Engineering preferable
Experience on industrial projects like energy to waste plants, power stations, factories etc advantageous
Competent in setting out of structures
Responsible, reliable, competent and conscientious
CSCS card
