Are you looking for a Site Engineering job in the Central/ East London area? Can you manage site activities from an engineering perspective? Are you confident enough to call off material orders? If you answered yes, then I might have just the role for you. I'm looking for a Site Engineer to join a Tier 2 contractor on a 1 year contract starting ASAP.
If you're interested in working for a growing company with heaps of work ahead of them, including but not limited to, pilling, earthworks, RC works and more, then this might be a great fit. I'm looking for a conscientious engineer with the desire to push themselves and grow. An ability to set-out is essential, however, that won't be all the role requires.
My client is looking for someone that can also manage activities going on around the site, calling in concrete or rebar, spotting issues before the arise, or as soon as possible and all the usual site engineer duties. There will be a requirement to help out with paperwork too; things like, basic RAMS, help with ITPs, drafting RFIs etc.
You will be given full support whilst doing this and any guidance where needed, but you need to have a proactive approach and be of the kind of person that likes to take on a challenge, attempt to get an understanding and develop your own approach and ask for help where needed.
