We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, working on projects such as the Toddbrook Reservoir Restoration sheme for our client, the Canal and River Trust.
We are now recruiting for a Site Engineer to manage the technical compliance of a section of the Toddbrook Reservoir River Park project.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Site Engineer role, you'll be responsible for setting out works and maintaining setting out and dimensional control to ensure the accurate construction of the work. You'll regularly check the setting out points and benchmarks and assist in the preparation of sketches for distribution on-site. You'll also be aware of the provisions of the Kier SHE Management system and to assist in its implementation to ensure safe systems of work are in place.
What do we need from you?
You'll be educated to HND/Degree level with suitable experience of a site engineering role. You'll also hold a valid CSCS card and have an ability to build positive relationships with site management teams and external stakeholders.
