Site Engineer

Location: Poulton Le Fylde
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: £35k - £39k + Company car + Benefits
Responsibilities
As a Site Engineer, you'll work in conjunction with the Site Team to ensure construction is carried out accurately; that quality is maintained; records are kept; abortive or defective work is avoided, and that satisfactory progress is achieved.
Your day to day will include:
- Setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances and ensuring the workforce understands the setting out information and that it is suitable for the type of work being carried out
- Management of subcontractors on site and ensuring the quality assurance procedures are understood, followed and up to date.
- Management of on site documentation, ensuring gangs have correct paperwork in place including RAMS and relevant permits.
This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:
- Have or working towards a related HNC/Degree or equivalent
- Experience in structures, drainage & earthworks and practical working knowledge using CAD
- Proficient in using setting out equipment such as total stations, GPS, automatic level & laser level and competent at using cable avoidance tools with services in congested areas.
