Responsibilities
As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within the Alderney team, supporting the Section Engineer and carrying out the supervision and engineering support to deliver the construction, commissioning, and transfer into supply of a new 82MLD Water Treatment Works.
Your day to day will include:
- You'll assist in managing systems to enable the progress of work to be reviewed against time, quality, dimensions and quantity.
- You'll complete construction records and assist in 'as-built' drawings and schedules and assist in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials i.e. drainage, concrete, piling, brickwork etc.
- You'll also assist in the preparation of sketches for distribution on-site, ensuring clear communication channels are in place.
This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:
- You are an enthusiastic and proactive individual with a relevant qualification, degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
- You'll have previous experience on a major civil engineering scheme in a regulated environment and an ability to work as part of a project team.
- You'll be highly organised and have strong attention to detail.
