CarmichaelUK are recruiting for a major road landside project at one of Europe's busiest Airports. We are keen to hear from you if you have tier 1 contractor experience and are keen to work in a fast paced environment.

Previous experience working within Airport construction and/or Civils packages would be highly advantageous.

This project is expected to last another 6 months and you will benefit from market competitive rates whilst working for one of the industry's leading contractors.


Working NIGHTS (Shift 8:30pm - 5:30am) the key responsibilities and duties will include:

* Site Setting Out - Pavements, Earthworks, Drainage, Utilities
* Preparing and implementing method statements and ensuring compliance
* Site QA, RFIs, NCRs and daily record keeping of on-going work
* Ordering of materials and checking that they are as per specification

* Managing Sub Contractors


If you are a Site Engineer and are looking for a freelance contract working on a large airside civil and infrastructure project then we would like to hear from you.

If you would like to apply for this position, the successful candidate will also need to demonstrate the following:

* A degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Eng.
* Experience in dealing with clients, subcontractors and main contractors
* The ability to read technical drawings
* Hold a valid CSCS Card

* Prior experience working on major Airport projects (highly advantageous)

* Prior experience working on Civils work on Roads projects (highly advantageous)

* Ordering of materials and checking that they are as per specification
