An urgent requirement has come up for a Site Engineer to start work for 35 weeks at Stanstead Airport. The site engineer will have extensive civils, drainage and earthworks experience. Working for a main contractor who provides building, construction and infrastructure services to private and public sector customers across a comprehensive range of markets.
Responsibilities:
As a site engineer, you will be responsible for day to day setting out duties, working under the Senior Engineers' supervision
You will ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification.
You will also operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance.
Checking asbuilts
Essential experience for this role:
You will have relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng)
Appropriate CSCS card
Be competent at setting out and confident using robotic GPS
Have extensive civils experience, especially earthworks and drainage
You must be suitable to qualify for an airside pass which means accountability for the last 5 years of employment, references, criminal record check etc.
