Experienced Site Manager with SMSTS needed ASAP to work in Leeds.

The Company:
The company are a building and construction contractor who specialise in a range of aspects within the construction industry.

The Opportunity:
Site Manager - will be based in Leeds city centre, on a freelance basis. Approximately 2 years work. Candidates will be required to have a valid SMSTS. The duties & responsibilities will include, but won't be limited to, the following:

  • Taking over and planning the demolition of a city centre building
  • Running with all the temp works and design,
  • Keeping all records and paperwork up to scratch,
  • H&S of all operatives and the surrounding areas,
  • Liaising with local shop keepers/businesses,
  • Programming and forward planning,
  • Delivery of a 10 storey RC frame building which incorporates a 398-student accommodation as well as low level retail units,
  • From start to completion including all services and internal delivery,

General day to day duties of a busy construction site in a very tight city centre footprint

The Role / Experience & Responsibilities:
The company is looking for an experienced Site Manager who has a valid SMSTS & CSCS. To be considered for the role, the following experience and certifications will be sought after:

  • MUST have SMSTS
  • MUST have CSCS
  • MUST have ability to get to Leeds city centre
  • MUST have working reference
  • MUST have the right to work in the UK

Pay:

Freelance: Between £270 and £280 a day (negotiable)
