About the role
The Site Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of site work, focusing specifically on SHEQ, time and cost. Delivery of site activity is carried out utilising our directly employed workforce, supplemented by supply chain where appropriate.
The Site Manager, working with the Resource Manager, and manages direct labour and supply chain team, to ensure all construction activities are provided in compliance with the scheme deliverables from a developed solution at DM3, ready to go to site, to DM4 in conjunction with the Project Engineer.
The role is key in terms of managing successful delivery of site activity, but has a key input as part of scoping and solution development stages of the project.
Whilst being primarily focussed on managing construction and site activity, the role must adopt a wider IOS Alliance view at all times, modelling appropriate Alliancing behaviours and leadership skills.
What do we need from you?
To be successful, you will hold experience within the water industry, have a commercial and contract awareness, excellent organisation skills and a good understanding and knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
