A place to achieve more, in so many ways.

Kier Group is the UK's leading highways service provider, delivering an incredibly diverse range of road, bridge and tunnel projects - from planning and programming stage through to delivery, maintenance and operation. We work with a wide range of partners such as local authorities and Highways England to improve the quality and safety of UK roads - making us the No.1 highways and tunnel maintenance team across the country, delivering over £1 billion of social value by maintaining 31,000km of roads used by six million people in their everyday lives

Our Northamptonshire Council contract is currently looking for a Site Manager to manage KiersWSP's supply chain partners and directly employed workforce in delivering civil engineering schemes and related projects as part of the current Highways Partnering contract with the NCC. With an ability to ensure the delivery of maintenance and improvement schemes to a strict programme and within an allocated budget, your role will be integral to our success. Some of your works will involve footpath reconstruction/resurfacing, drainage, carriageway reconstruction and bridge repairs.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of dealing day to day with subcontractors and solving issues as they arise, managing budgets and promoting a culture of positivity. With your HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, CSCS, SMSTS and NEBOSH you can really make a difference.

This position requires an awareness of the challenges in carrying out works on a live public highway and you will therefore need to be aware of health and safety requirements in delivering civil engineering projects in such an environment. Your Knowledge of material specifications, chapter 8 traffic signs Manual (2006) and construction (Design Management) CDM is vital.

In reward for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary and market leading benefits package including
