JOB DESCRIPTION:

SMSTS Site Manager required for a large nationwide business that specialises in Industrial projects. Our client is looking for experienced and hardworking site manager to join a project based in Edgbaston.

This labourer contract will be ongoing, with hours being 7:30 - 4:30, Monday-Friday and the option to work overtime at the weekends.

Daily responsibilities will include:

    * Knowledge of building and construction
    * Leadership qualities
    * Time management skills
    * Excellent verbal communication skills
    * Ability to problem-solve and use your initiative.
    * Updating of Operational Planner
    * Attendance to weekly operational and financial update meetings
    * Overseeing the logistical requirements of a project
    * Delegating work to colleagues within your team
    * Day to day on site co-ordination of M&E with other trades Short term planning with M&E Subcontractor Imtech On-site quality checks H&S checks, briefings where required BIM Scanning

Requirements for the role

  • A valid SMSTS Card
  • CSCS Card
  • Industrial experience
  • The ability to perform physical manual labour
  • Own PPE - High vis vest, safety glasses, gloves, dust mask and hard hat can be provided by Daniel Owen
  • Own tools NOT required
