My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Civil Site Manager to start work on various sites across the North East.

Working for a reputable, well established Groundworks & Civils firm, on a temp-perm basis.

Duties

Liaising with the clients, suppliers, head office and operatives / contractors.
Ensuring that no work commences on site until all Health & Safety documentation is in place.
Ensuring that the project is tidy and well presented throughout the construction process.
Working closely with the Company's Project Quantity Surveyor, providing the necessary input to allow the Quantity Surveyor to formulate the application for payment.
Ensuring all variations are recorded to allow the QS to include within the application for payment including supporting documentation such as marked up drawings and photos.
Reporting back to the office on all plant used on the site and ensuring all plant is efficiently used and off-hired as soon as necessary.
To ensure Method Statements and Risk Assessments are in place.
Providing leadership and support to operatives, sub-contractors and head office.
Expedite materials and information release from design team.
Supervising the quality of the works and hand over a snag free project.

Requirements

SMSTS/SSSTS
CSCS
First Aid
Driving License
Previous supervisory experience in construction industry (N.H.B.C awareness).
Previous experience working as a Site Manager and be able to provide references to validate this
Proof of right to work documents
