I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to start ASAP in Durham

Working for the local authority on a range of commercial/fit out contracts.

Long term work available for the right candidate with potential of being taken on.

Duties

Day to day management of site and operatives
Ensuring health and safety is adhered to
The Site Manager will be required to monitor progress of job against programme, ensuring relevant paperwork is up to date including risk assessments and method statements
Ordering of materials and plant
Monitoring and tracking costs
Liaising with clients, contractors and employees on a daily basis
Reporting directly into the contracts manager on a regular basis.

Requirements

SMSTS
CSCS
First Aid
Driving License and own transport
Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling & Scaffold Inspection
DBS Check
Previous experience working as a Site Manager and be able to provide references to validate this
Proof of right to work documents

For this role we are unfortunately unable to pay CIS - Umbrella or PAYE only.
