- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience
- Role based: UK wide - resident on site
- Contract type: Permanent
- Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
- Will involve some weekend work
- Lead and motivate the site team and the supply chain to deliver the project and ensure roles and responsibilities are clear
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management completing all necessary health & safety activities and implementing Safe Systems of Work
- Effectively coordinate and manage simultaneous construction activity involving multiple contractors
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
- Control and monitor the use of all resources including sub-contractors to maximise efficiency and minimise costs
- Ensure the timely delivery of project reporting and forecasting
- Ensure that adequate site records are maintained including but not limited to Site Managers reports, daily diary, weekly labour, plant, materials and goods returned, progress photographs, site inductions, and health and safety records
- Manage the client expectations and adopt a professional and considerate approach to maintain good working relations.

- Relevant HNC at level 4 or above
- A proven track record of successful delivery of projects and working as a Principal Contractor
- Demonstrable experience managing a variety of construction operations on medium/large projects
- In-depth knowledge of construction related Health and safety legislation, controls to include CDM-2015
- A full driving licence
- The ability to take responsibility for actions, projects and people and establish good relationships with customers and staff
- The ability to produce workable solutions to a range of problems
- An appropriate CSCS card and SMSTS & First Aid at Work certificate.
