My client is currently looking to recruit a Site Manager for a contract based in Gateshead

This will be working on a contract with the local housing association - Kitchen, Bathroom, Electrical Rewiring, Central Heating Installation, Windows & Doors and External Works.

Void works (to minimal lettable standard including elemental replacements if required).

Working on a temp-perm basis.

£45,000k per annum

Duties

  • Day to day management of site and operatives
  • Ensuring health and safety is adhered to
  • The Site Manager will be required to monitor progress of job against programme, ensuring relevant paperwork is up to date including risk assessments and method statements
  • Ordering of materials and plant
  • Monitoring and tracking costs
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and employees on a daily basis
  • Reporting directly into the contracts manager on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • First Aid
  • Driving License and own transport
  • Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling & Scaffold Inspection
  • Previous experience working as a Site Manager and be able to provide references to validate this
  • Proof of right to work documents
