Our client, a tier 1 principal main contractor is currently seeking a Site Manager with civils experience in the Wiltshire area.

The Role:

The Site Manager will be responsible for the management of the construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers' objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control. They will deliver on-going projects, to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance. The post-holder will work closely with the Estimating Department, engineers and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the work to the specified quality without defects.
  • Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, Inspection and Test Plans and waste management plans (as required), in line with Company procedures.
  • Implementing Health & Safety procedures
  • Carrying out daily/Weekly reports to the project management
  • Supervision and planning of workload for the site teams
  • Mentoring other members of staff
  • Health and Safety
  • Skills
  • Previous track record working as a Site Manager
  • Hold valid CSCS and SMSTS cards
  • BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent.
  • Appointed person (desirable)
  • Temporary work experience (desirable)
