Site Manger

A 6 month contract will exist with a Main contractor in the Midlands - who are experts within their field, for an experienced Site Manager on an Infrastructure project. Excellent rates on offer for the right person. You will be involved in the daily management and production of all the construction activities which include the following duties -

  • Daily toolbox talks
  • Daily and weekly planning
  • Resource planning including materials and equipment
  • Managing of in-house teams and sub contractors
  • Enforcing method statements
  • Site administration including site diary, time sheets, and plant returns etc.
  • Solving of technical issues
  • Managing health and safety including the reporting thereof

Requirements

  • A construction or civil engineering qualification is preferred
  • Previous management experience as a Stand alone Site Manager
  • Proven decision making capability
  • A quick thinking problem solver
  • Recent contactable references
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • First Aid
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • The right to work in the UK
