Kier Places are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager (QC Focused) to oversee fire safety related works to properties & residential blocks across London in a variety of areas we service as part of our contract with One Housing Group.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely & collaboratively with the site team/surveyors managing the projects ensuring all schemes are delivered safely and to the highest standard, as a Site Manager (QC Focused), you will carry out site inspections prior to work commencing, and at all key stages throughout the construction phase, while monitoring the delivery and quality of work being carried out. Based on these inspections & consequent site audits, we'll trust you to make recommendations about any aspect of the works which do not conform to plans, specifications or schedules, and to keep a constant review of documentation.
You'll be responsible for ensuring that works are performed to our the highest standard and projects stay within agreed costs, whilst ensuring the projects comply with current health & safety legislations, codes of practice and building regulations are observed at all times by the contractor.
What do we need from you?
The ideal candidate with this role with will excellent knowledge of Fire Safety relating to residential properties, social housing, tower blocks & housing maintenance, with the main focus on internal fire safety works.
