About us: Daniel Owen is an established recruitment consultancy specialising in the placement of quality temporary and permanent workers to all roles in the Built Environment. Working with some of the UK's largest and most respected construction, maintenance and engineering companies. Site Manager Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established company who're looking to strengthen their construction team.
  • You will be a key part of the construction team and will manage the day to day activities of the sub-contractors alongside maintaining a high level of health and safety which is paramount.
  • Ensure Drywall safe systems of work are implemented and followed against business KPI's.
  • Effectively use a digital platform to support the companies safe systems and business standards.
  • Regularly engage with clients.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to ensure project budgets are followed.
  • Manage project programmes whilst identifying any potential or realised delays, agree appropriate mitigation and recovery measures with the project manager.
  • Recognise and encourage excellent performance wherever possible.
  • Set an example for all staff in matters or performance and enthusiasm.
  • Ensure a high level of health and safety is upheld wherever possible.
  • Ensure monthly standards are achieved.
  • Have a sense of urgency for delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn.
The Role
  • To support the delivery of projects focusing on health, safety, quality, cost and time.
  • Implement and successfully deliver safe systems of work and quality management systems in compliance within the Businesses Management System.
  • Strong team leadership of the workforce, focusing on client's needs, planning, organisation and project goals.
  • Accountability for delivery which will be measured against business goals.
Qualifications / Skills:
  • CSCS card - Level 4 NVQ as a minimum
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid - min 1-day
  • Must be willing to travel where required
  • Have the ability to engage with clients.
  • Have knowledge of the Drywall market
  • Organised individual
