Position Details:

  • Permanent role based in Leeds with an immediate start in March.
  • Initial projects feature student blocks spanning an impressive 38 floors, promising an exciting scope of work.
  • Background in fit-out, refurbishment, or M&E is advantageous.

Requirements:

  • Hold valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and First Aid certificates.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of approximately 12 staff members.

Role Responsibilities: As a Construction Site Manager, your duties will include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations and project timelines.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate efficient project execution.
  • Implementing quality control measures to uphold high standards of workmanship and finishes.
  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Managing site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment, and personnel allocation.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and addressing any issues or deviations from plans promptly.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among all site personnel.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for any site-related queries or issues, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
