My client has almost 40 years' experience in the creation of award winning retirement properties.
They select sites in the most desirable villages and market towns across the southern counties for new build and conversion projects.
They are actively on the lookout for a Site Manager due to successfully winning new projects.
The Role:
As a Site Manager specializing in timber frame construction for bespoke retirement homes, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and project timelines.
- Collaborating closely with architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to bring unique retirement home designs to life.
- Enforcing stringent quality standards to uphold the company's commitment to excellence in construction.
- Managing the construction process from planning to completion, optimizing resources for efficiency. Implementing and maintaining rigorous safety protocols to ensure the well-being of on-site personnel.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, with a demonstrable track record in timber frame construction.
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- In-depth knowledge of timber frame methods, materials, and a keen understanding of the unique considerations for retirement home construction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of construction quality and safety.
