Location: working from our Bury St Edmonds office and sites - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time - flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager working within energy-based utilities, you'll manage and oversee the work of your team delivering projects ranging from £500k to £10m, such as cable, overhead line and substation infrastructure projects
Your day to day will include:
- Managing all interfaces between Capital Programme functional departments and key Asset Management and/or Major Connections staff and teams.
- Ensuring resources are in place and aligned in delivering milestones and investment plans as well as any regulatory outputs or customer energisation dates.
- Monitoring project progress between Gate A, Gate B and Gate C, providing regular reports and any other functions as required by the Sub Programme Manager.
This role of Project Manager is great for you if you:
- Have an Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent all with a Project Management bias
- Knowledge and experience of Primavera P6, the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, Project and Outlook) and project management techniques
