Kier Utilities keep our telecoms clients' customers connected to superfast broadband, digital TV and the latest full-fibre gigabit internet services through the design and construction of new fibre networks as well as the maintenance of existing HFC networks.
Recently appointed as Openreach's core partner, this exciting contract will see us providing multi-million pound planned and reactive fibre and copper network services across Hampshire and Berkshire over the next five-years.

About the role
As Site Supervisor you will be responsible for the supervision of field operatives, both direct labour and sub contract, to ensure that all client orders are delivered safely and on time. Contractual processes and procedures and quality standards must be met.
You'll need to liaise with the Highways Authority, Police and Local Authorities as part of this role. You'll also be responsible for CCH/SSWR/Damages Escalation and ensuring compliance to contractual clearance timescales.
We'll need you to complete surveys for fluidity tasks such as traffic light clearance and also ensure you and your team are compliant to all quality and safety standards. In-field coaching and identification of operative training opportunities and accreditation requirements is another key responsibility.
What do we need from you?

We need someone with the ability to liaise effectively with a number of internal and external stakeholders, someone who's got extensive knowledge of the Communications Network Installation Specifications and relevant legislation that could affect Kier Utilities' activities on the highway.




We need someone with good people management skills and who holds a current NRSWA Supervisor qualification. It is highly desirable if you have experience in the MT Openreach Network/Telecommunications. If you have knowledge of COSHH, RIDDOR and Health & Safety at work is beneficial.
