Are you a dynamic and experienced Site Supervisor with a passion for overseeing commercial construction and fit-out projects?

My client is a leading construction and fit-out company with a strong commitment to excellence and innovation. Their projects range from commercial spaces to high-end retail.

With a current project portfolio valued at around £1.2 million, they are looking for a dedicated Site Supervisor to play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects of this size.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the delivery of a project from site possession to completion in accordance with the Contracts Managers, Project Managers or Construction Managers direction: safety, cost efficiency, risk, time, quality, logistics, technical, procurement, temporary works, M&E, design, building commissioning, neighbour relations and soft landings.
  • Assist the Project Manager Construction Manager and/or commercial team to maximise commercial opportunities across the project.
  • Adhere to the contractual responsibilities outlined by the Contracts Manager/ Project Manager/Commercial Manager.
  • Assist in holding regular site progress meetings, supply chain meetings and the production of regular project reports (written and visual).
  • Assist in the management of the project construction budget and forecasting expenditure as directed by the project team.
  • Assist the Contracts Manager, Project Manager or Construction Manager in the preparation of tender responses, including logistics planning, programming, construction feasibility and solutions, health and safety and subcontractor / supplier engagement.
  • Report and internally communicate on progress of a project including: resource availability, project programme, "Solution for Approval", change management, budget achievement and final account agreement as directed.
  • Perform all duties in full compliance with the QHSE process and policies.
  • Assist the project team in the effective close out and handover of the project ensuring all project deliverables are prepared and presented to agreed dates.
  • Take an active part in PC Inside Out ceremonies, close out of defects and attend quality audits.
  • Attend relationship building project social events in conjunction with the Project delivery and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in commercial construction and fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction management.
