We are looking for people to join our South West Water / H5O Planned Works delivery Team incorporating all aspects of Water Treatment & Delivery Networks Enhancements.

We have opportunities for Operatives in all areas to work with the team, working as part of the Planned Work Delivery Teams within the H5O framework which includes Sewerage & Water Treatment, Pumping & Network Improvement and general civil engineering works. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to technical and customer specification with a strong emphasis on meeting Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards and regulations.
Working in a small team you'll need to have experience of gravity & pressure pipelines, chamber construction, formwork & reinforced concrete and general excavation including groundworks. Working locations will vary ranging from on highway to SWW treatment facilities and 3rd party land. Similar experience in other utility providers or construction sectors will be considered.
What do we need from you?
Ideally we are looking for enthusiastic Operatives who have a Full Driving Licence, who hold Streetworks Operative Units 001-006, SSSTS, 360 Excavator below 10t and B&E Trailer Towing. EUSR Utility SHEA (water), EUSR National Water Hygiene, Forward tipping Dumper and 360 Excavator above 10t are highly desirable. It would also be beneficial for you to hold a First Aid at work qualification, have had experience of excavation and Safe Trench Support and also hold a CAT competency qualification.
