Location: Staffordshire Police HQ office location - covering sites across Staffordshire

Business Area: Kier Places - Facilities Management - Staffordshire Police OPCC

Contract & hours: Permanent, full time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 5am to 5pm

Kier Places are recruiting now for a Soft Services Supervisor to join our Facilities Management team at Staffordshire Police HQ, to oversee the management of our cleaning service across our Staffordshire Police OPCC contract and line manage a team of cleaners across multiple sites. Our prestigious contract with Stafford Police OPCC covers 38 sites across Staffordshire

Key Responsibilities

As a Soft Services Supervisor with Kier, you'll be responsible for ensuring cleaning tasks are maintained in accordance with our agreed KPI's and SLAs; ensure cleaning records are maintained; carry out line manager duties such as monthly toolbox talks with the cleaning team to advise on health and safety and company updates, producing cleaning schedules and completing timesheets for Oracle submission. You will also be responsible for carrying out quality control checks, reporting any incidents/defects, damages and bad practice against our health and safety requirements.

What do we need from you?

The ideal Soft Services Supervisor should have previous cleaning experience; previous line manager or supervisory experience & can lead by example; strong numeracy skills, Excel skills, good commercial awareness & works well under pressure.

Due to the nature of this position, you should have a full driving licence & be comfortable with flexible working hours between 5am to 5pm as the Cleaners on the contract start/finish between these hours. A BICS qualification is desirable.
