Software Support Trainee
West Midlands
Salary: £20,000-£25,000 (may be flexible depending on experience)
Full time, permanent
Trainee Software Support Specialist required for specialist supplier to the Engineered Wood Products Manufacturing Industry (e.g. Roof trusses, floor joist and timber wall panel manufacturers). We are keen to speak to you if you would like to join this family run business with over 45 years' experience in the Timber Industry.
Your role will involve:
- Visiting and assisting customers to handle their queries
- Involved in helping to meet and deliver your customers' training requirements
- Recording requests for enhancements and new features and testing the software in advance of scheduled releases
About you:
- Proven IT skills, as well as experience and knowledge of CAD software
- Excellent people skills and a good communicator
- If you are also in possession of a construction-related qualification this would be of particular interest
As you progress, you will acquire an expert knowledge of this highly specialist software.
To enable you to reach this point, you will be given excellent training and a structured development plan.
