Role overview

Solutions in I.T. are the software authors of EMiR, short for Electro-Mechanical Information Resource. EMiR is an ERP system designed specifically for the electro-mechanical service industry. EMiR provides our customers with job management, quoting, stock control, purchasing, and finance, along with CRM functionality, labour scheduling and a mobile app.

We are passionate about ensuring our customers get the most benefit from EMiR and this role is key to making that happen!

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with:

  • experience of training users how to effectively make use of business management software
  • excellent project management skills to manage new EMiR implementations
  • an enjoyment of presenting and helping users improve their use of software
  • experience of customer service skills and an understanding of commercial acumen
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills and happy to be self-sufficient
  • excellent organisational skills to ensure consistent results
  • high levels of creativity, flexibility and dependability
  • a real energy for wanting to deliver training and educate our user-base

This role will require the successful candidate to:

  • Deliver training to new and existing customers to get the most benefit from using EMiR
  • Organise and plan software implementations and required training schedules
  • Update and maintain key documentation and user guides
  • Suggest and help specify new improvements to EMiR based on customer suggestions
  • Liaise with our development team to deliver the best solution to customers
  • Provide virtual training and in-person onsite training to customers - this will involve travel to our customers' sites (mainly UK)
  • Update our award-winning EMiR-Learning LMS platform
