Solution Architect

Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire with flexible/hybrid working
Contract: Permanent, full-time position. Also, able to consider part-time opportunities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll provide governance to ensure the change initiatives align to Kier's Architectural principles and contribute to the application architecture. You'll also assist in the creation of technology roadmaps and identify best practice initiatives for solution architecture. You'll be tasked with working on complex projects, consulting with stakeholders on new requirements and identifying IT solutions that enable the business to operate effectively and efficiently. You'll work closely with our 3rd part delivery partners to ensure end to end business services are optimised, automated and affordable.
You may be asked to undertake other activities associated within this role, which are not included in the above description, but are within your capabilities and the broader remit of the position.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who can work in a multi solution, multi cloud environment with associated integration capabilities. A strong understanding of Microsoft technologies (Dynamics 365, O365 and Azure services), SaaS and COTS package implementations are a must. You'll have good knowledge of architectural design and business/operating models and be aware of emerging technologies to support working as part of a growing and fast-paced architectural function.
